from here we can come up with a tailored training plan for you and your dog with us and at home, you will leave with knowledge to use in home and out and about on walks.

2) pick a package

together we will pick the perfect package for you and your dogs needs whether its just recall you need help with or an all round package. there is a package for every dogs needs.

1) ongoing support

we will always be happy to help and give advice after training is completed, we recommend booking into training classes even after training is complete to keep your dogs behaviour top notch and to keep them happy.

We are a professional dog training company using modern training methods, we believe all dogs are different and every dog needs a tailored training approach regardless of breed or age. we have a dog training facility just outside of harrogate, North Yorkshire.

Balanced Dog Training

At Northern K9 Company we use balanced dog training. Balanced dog trainers use a mix of positive reinforcement and gentle correction to guide dogs in a clear, fair way. While 95% of our training is reward-based, we also believe in setting boundaries when needed—because some dogs learn best with a bit of extra structure. Unlike correction-only or purely force-free methods, balanced training is flexible, effective, and tailored to each dog. It’s about communication, not punishment, and helping dogs thrive in the real world.
